It comes with a thoroughly modern Stiga ST140 139cc Auto Choke engine which is reliable, powerful and easy to start and offers excellent fuel economy as well as less fumes and noise than a traditional petrol mower.
With six cutting heights that range from 22 mm to 80 mm you can cut the lawn anyway you want. If your grass has grown longer you can give it a quick cut on a higher setting then go over it again on the lowest setting leaving you with a nice neat finish. You can choose from collecting, rear-discharging or mulching the grass cuttings to suit your needs and the conditions you are working in.
If you choose to collect then the generously sized 60 litre grass bag will alert you when it needs emptying to save it from getting clogged up and difficult to empty. If you choose to rear-discharge then you will save heaps of time as you won’t need to empty the grass bag. The mulching option however actually returns vital nutrients to the soil, acting as a natural and very effective grass fertiliser, cutting out the need for additional lawn care products, thus saving you time as well as money.
The 200/280mm grooved wheels on ball bearings on this Atco Classic 18S self-propelled petrol mower are ideal for undulating areas and offer a smoother drive.
