A firm favourite for many years, especially amongst advocates of Honda petrol engines, the Billy Goat KV650H Leaf & Litter Vacuum is one of the very best lawn and litter vacuums in the world. Designed to cope in areas of up to an acre in size, it will easily pick up most garden debris from grass clippings to fallen apples. The optimally designed 68.5cm suction nozzle will even consume hedge clippings due to enhanced airflow. A 176-litre breathable hard bottom mesh collection bag loads from the bottom upwards and an integral dust cover prevents grime blowing into the operator’s face in dry conditions. Nautical fasteners replace fussy zippers to ease the emptying of a full bag; thanks to the serrated 5-bladed impellor the collected debris should be partially mulched and ready for composting.
Suction power is adjustable in conjunction with the operating height that can be altered, in 4 increments, from a control located on the vacuum housing. This is particularly useful when switching from hard surface to turf areas, as are the optional front caster wheels that enhance manoeuvrability on harder ground when replacing the easy rolling 30cm turf wheels. The powerful Honda GSV 190 6.5hp petrol engine allows the Billy Goat KV650H to clear an area of 35,000 square feet per hour at a brisk walking pace. For cleaning hard to reach corners an optional hose kit helps vacuum between shrubs, borders and under decking.
